As part of Marina Developments Limited’s on going strive for the safest possible workplace, ML DREDGING were asked to supply and fit extra safety rails between the piles inside the hoist dock of Mercury Yacht Harbour on the river Hamble.
To make sure our fabricator/welders were safe whilst fitting the new guard rails we mobilized our small multi-role vessel ‘SEAKA’ to be used as a safe working platform. The footprint of this vessel is only 4m x 10m making it ideal to slip into tight spaces.
6 new rails were fitted in under 2 days and the marina staff are happy that they now have extra safety whilst operating in the hoist dock.
The ‘SEAKA’ is aviailable for charter with or without crew.
