ML DREDGING have arrived in Portsmouth alongside HMS Warrior to carry out dredging operations for the Portsmouth Naval Base property trust.
The small pontoon which caters to a few small boats and the ferry which runs back and forth to the explosives museum at Priddy’s Hard requires maintenance dredging to get back to required depths.
Being a Portsmouth based company we are very proud to be invited to carry out the dredge. Our sister company ML (UK) Engineering is currently working next to us on HMS WARRIOR renewing the bulwarks around the whole of the top deck.
In the distance you can see the Spinnaker Tower, another project which ML (UK) had a lot of involvement including the fabrication of the spire, the top 100ft above the spectacular viewing platform.
