ML DREDGING have been invited to Bray Marina to carry out some redundant pontoon removal and shore based maintenance dredging. This idealic marina in Windsor has to be one of the most peaceful tranquil marinas on the Thames and we are delighted to be entrusted with the following excavation tasks.

Using our 30 tonne long reach excavator we created a bunded pit on land. The area created was to cater for 300 cubic metres of material to be deposited.

Our long reach excavator using all of the 18m reach she has to offer then dredged from the marina to the required depth and deposited the material into the bunded area we created.

Once we had taken care of the dredging it was down to our plough boat ”Beaver” rigged up with a 2 metre wide plough frame which gets lowered to the required depth and pulled along the marina bed to ensure we have reached our dredge targets.

All operations were carried out and completed within two weeks and we thank the staff at Bray marina for their support throughout the dredge.
