Dredging at Newhaven Marina

ML Dredging have mobilized to Newhaven Marina to undertake the first stage of the marinas dredging campaign.

The backhoe dredger ‘Witton II’ will undertake the first stage of the project, removing roughly 8,000 cubic meters in the first of 4 stages.

The ‘Witton II’ will be working alongside hopper barges Split Two or Split Three to achieve maximum spoil removal in the shortest possible time. Bringing the least amount of disruption to the Marina and berth holders.

Newhaven Marina have worked hard over the past weeks to remove pontoon infrastructure to allow us access into the marina. Although our skippers will still be operating in extremely confined space, highlighting once again the skill of our crews.
