Dredging Southsea Marina Approach

The Witton II Dredger and Split 3 Hopper barge have been working in tandem to gain better depths in the approach channel to Southsea Marina in Portsmouth.

Working for our client Premier Marinas we removed around 7500 cubic metres of silt from the channel.

On site for around 3 weeks working almost every tide, we are very proud of the skill, professionalism and dedication that our employees put into this dredging campaign.  With a loaded draft of 2.6 meters navigating a narrow channel designed for small pleasure craft requires a high level of knowledge, skill and accuracy and our captain handled this excellently.
